  • Provide accurate, complete, and verifiable information during registration.

  • Hold any required licenses or permits related to your business or products.

  • Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your country or region.

Roota reserves the right to approve or reject any vendor registration at its sole discretion.

2. Account Registration

  • Vendors must create an account using a valid email address, password, and business details.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Roota will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

3. Product Listings

Vendors may list products for sale on Roota under the following conditions:

  • Product descriptions must be accurate, complete, and not misleading.

  • All images, titles, and pricing must reflect the true condition and price of the product.

  • Products must not violate any local laws, copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights.

  • Roota reserves the right to review, approve, or remove any listing that violates our policies.

4. Pricing and Payments

  • Vendors are responsible for setting their own product prices.

  • Roota may charge a commission fee or service fee per sale, as stated in your vendor dashboard or agreement.

  • Payments for completed sales will be transferred to the vendor’s registered bank account or payment method after deducting any applicable fees.

  • Roota reserves the right to hold or delay payments in case of disputes, fraudulent activity, or policy violations.

5. Order Fulfillment

  • Vendors must process and ship orders promptly and within the stated delivery time.

  • Tracking information must be provided (if applicable).

  • Failure to fulfill orders may lead to penalties, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from Roota.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

  • Vendors must clearly define their return and refund policies in their store settings.

  • Vendors are responsible for handling returns, exchanges, or refunds in accordance with Roota’s buyer protection policy.

  • Repeated customer complaints may result in penalties or account suspension.

7. Vendor Conduct

Vendors agree not to:

  • List prohibited or illegal items (including counterfeit goods or restricted products).

  • Engage in false advertising, spam, or manipulation of reviews.

  • Attempt to bypass Roota’s payment system.

  • Share or misuse customer data collected through the platform.

Roota reserves the right to investigate any vendor suspected of misconduct and take appropriate action.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Vendors retain ownership of their own product images, descriptions, and branding.

  • By listing on Roota, you grant Roota a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote your listings on the platform and in marketing materials.

9. Commissions and Fees

  • Roota may charge vendors listing fees, transaction fees, or commissions as specified in the vendor dashboard.

  • Fees are subject to change with prior notice.

  • Any applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) are the responsibility of the vendor.

10. Suspension or Termination

Roota may suspend or terminate your vendor account if:

  • You violate these Terms or any applicable law.

  • You receive excessive negative feedback or complaints.

  • You engage in fraudulent or misleading activities.

  • You fail to maintain product or service quality.

Upon termination, all pending payments (if any) will be reviewed and processed in accordance with Roota’s payment policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

Roota provides the platform “as is” and makes no guarantees regarding sales, profits, or exposure.
We are not liable for:

  • Loss of revenue or data,

  • Customer disputes, or

  • Vendor misconduct.

Each vendor operates as an independent entity, and Roota acts only as a platform provider.

12. Changes to Terms

Roota may update these Terms at any time.
Any changes will be effective once posted on the website.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
